We are pleased to announce that Lancaster Comics Day is scheduled to return to Lancaster Library for a third year on Sunday 11th June 2017, again organised by the Friends of Lancaster Library. Post the date in your diary now!
Lancaster Comics Day 2016 raised over £600 for Library funds, which will be used to buy new equipments to support future events. In 2015, funds raised from the day helped considerably toward the purchase of “black out” blinds for The Sanctuary room, enabling the screening of films.
Guests will be announced in coming months, but will include comics writer and editor John Freeman and local fantasy author A.S. Chambers.
House Lancaster Gaming Group have also signed on board to provide a Games Room for the event’s third year.
